Students serve soup for summer

Central Christian Church, Moberly, held a chili and soup lunch Monday, February 15.

Youth director Julie Sells said that the noon luncheon was very busy with at least 150 people coming in despite the bitter weather conditions.

Proceeds from the event will be used to fund the youth group’s summer church camp. Children as young as second grade up to high schoolers attend the camp as long as they work to raise the money, said Sells.
