Moberly Middle School Spelling Bee, 12:16 p.m.

Westran Elementary Spring Fling, 5 – 7 p.m., Westran Elementary School. The event will include a spaghetti dinner, silent auction raffle and art show.

Delilah’s Wish – the Metro Theatre Company, 7 p.m., Moberly High School Auditorium. Sponsored by the Moberly Area Council on the Arts.

Cancelled – Moberly’s Got Talent will be rescheduled for the fall.

Tuesday, March 30

The Spring Fashion Show to benefit the Stubbins Children’s Home will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Moberly Best Western.

The Moberly/Randolph County League of Women Voters will sponsor a Candidate Forum at 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 30, at City Hall. Candidates for City Council and Moberly School Board will participate. Audience members will be able to ask questions and League will also have questions. City Council candidates are Todd Gill and incumbents Herb Lawrence and Mayor Don Burton. Running for school board are Mary Lou Kimmons and incumbents Bobby Riley and Jeff Lawrence.

Community Good Friday service, noon, Jefferson Avenue Methodist Church. Area pastors will speak on the final words of Jesus. The singing group, His Friends, will also perform. An offering will be taken to benefit the Randolph County Ministerial Alliance outreach program
