Westran loses thriller in fourth
Kris Childs - February 24, 2010Last Friday the Westran Hornets invited the Fayette Falcons to their home court for some Lewis & Clark Conference play. Those in attendance Friday night saw a thriller to the end.
In the first three quarters neither team led by more than three points. Fayette having the advantage 22-20 after one, and Westran with the lead 36-33 after two and 52-50 after three. Fayette retook the lead in the fourth and was able to hang on for the win 72-65.
Westran had two athletes who gave double-double performances Friday night. Bryce Enyard had his best career game putting in 36 points and 16 rebounds while Tyler Hunt scored 10 points and had 12 boards of his own. Tyler Aulber also had 8 points.
Westran is now 12-11 overall and 5-4 in the L&CC. Fayette is now 18-5 overall and 6-3 in the L&CC.
