Moberly tennis falls hard against Hannibal
Kris Childs - May 6, 2010Moberly’s Tennis team didn’t fair to well last week in their matchup against conference rival Hannibal and were unable to notch a single victory when they fell 12-0 to the Pirates.
Playing in a conference match the two teams played 12 matches, 10 points each match including 6 singles and 6 doubles matches.
Scores for the match were: Trent Spires 0-10, Jeremy Herrin 1-10, Jerrin Rampton 3-10, Cyle Cundiff 1-10, Kevin Jenkins 3-10 and Gabe Warren 1-10. In the doubles matches Trent Spires and Cyle Cundiff lost 0-10, Jeremy Herrin and Jerrin Rampton dropped their game 0-10, Kevin Jenkins and Gabe Warren fell 2-10, Will Stein and Jordan Winn lost 3-10, Dillon Twyman and Kyle Oberkum lost 6-10 and Dallas Twyman and Tim Pittman lost 3-10.
Moberly’s next tennis action will be at Quincy Notre Dame this Thursday and will be their final match before NCMC tournament play begins.
