‘Magic’al team takes first in Renick tourney

Magic 6th grade future Moberly Spartans played in the basketball tournament hosted by Renick last week.
Magic faced Centralia for the first round play. With Lexy Ganaway, Jessica Lawrence and Sadie Derboven each scoring 2 points and KeAnna Kinder scoring 8, Magic won with a score of 14 to 4.
On Thursday evening Magic was matched against St Pius 6th grade. Jessica Lawrence scored 5 points, Tonja Chapman scored 3, Courtney Bales scored 2 and KeAnna Kinder sank 4 points for a Magic win of 14 to 11.
On Friday evening playing for first place against Westran Magic came out on top with a score of 37-10.
Sadie Derboven scored 2 points, Courtney Bales and Jessica Lawrence each scored 2 points, Lexy Ganaway scored 9 points and KeAnna Kinder scored 18 points.
