Sheriff’s Report
Submitted - May 13, 2010Randolph County Sheriff Mark Nichols reports the following incidents, reports, investigations and arrests.
A deputy was dispatched to a location in Higbee in reference to a theft.The complainant reported that someone stole two stainless steel tanks. The tanks were described as being 2 feet by 2 feet by 4 feet long. The investigation continues.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in rural Moberly in reference to a report of property damage. The complainant reported that someone damaged a fender on a 2000 Chrysler van that was parked in the complainant’s driveway. The complainant added that someone cut several wires in the engine compartment and pulled the wiring harness from the vehicle. The investigation continues.
A deputy was dispatched to a location on Highway JJ in reference to a report of property damage. The complainant reported that while his 1999 Chevrolet work van was sitting in the drive, someone broke the passenger side rear window out of it. The deputy viewed the damage and concluded that the damage to the window came from being shot by an air gun. Photographs were taken of the damage. The investigation continues.
Deputies were dispatched to a location on Highway 24 east of the road side park in reference to assisting the Missouri State Highway Patrol with traffic control at the scene of a motor vehicle accident. The deputies remained on scene until the area was cleared.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in rural Clark in reference to a report of property damage. The complainant reported that someone splattered black paint on her white garage door. Photographs were taken of the damage. The investigation continues.
A deputy was dispatched to County Road 2240 in reference to 4-wheelers being operated on the roadway. The deputy patrolled the area without locating any 4-wheelers.
A deputy was dispatched to a location on Highway T in reference to two horses and a goat in the roadway. Upon arrival of the deputy, a family member of the owner of the animals was present and was corralling the animals. No further action taken.
A deputy was dispatched to a location on Highway 63 in reference to a dead deer lying in the roadway causing a traffic hazard. The deputy located the dead animal and removed it from the road.
A deputy was dispatched to a location on County Road 1245 in reference to individuals discharging a firearm in an unsafe direction. The deputy located three subjects who stated that they were shooting a 22 rifle near a pond. The individuals stated that they were finished. No further action taken.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in Huntsville in reference to a child custody dispute. The child was turned over to the appropriate parent.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence on Highway JJ in reference to a report of property damage. The complainant reported that during the night time hours, someone cut one of her window screens. Photographs were taken of the damage. The investigation continues.
A deputy assisted an investigator from the Division of Family Services with a child abuse hotline that alleged inappropriate touching of a child. During the investigation it was learned that the alleged incident occurred in Farmington, Missouri. The investigation has been forwarded to Farmington
authorities.
A deputy assisted an investigator from the Division of Family Services with a child abuse hotline that alleged physical abuse and neglect. Interviews were conducted and at the conclusion of the investigation the allegations were unsubstantiated.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence on County Road 2245 in reference to a domestic assault that had occurred at another residence in the county. The victim reported she and her ex-boyfriend had become involved in a verbal argument when the ex-boyfriend became upset and struck the victim in the face with an open hand. The deputy obtained written statements from the victim and a witness. The suspect was interviewed and confessed to the incident. The suspect was arrested and transported to the Randolph County Jail where he later posted the required bond.
A deputy is investigating an incident of fraud that occurred to a Higbee resident. The complainant reported that she responded to a newspaper ad concerning a personal loan from an Alabama loan company. The investigators are attempting to track the wired funds. The investigation continues.
Princesullman G. Mohammed was served a Randolph County warrant on a class C felony charge of possession of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana. Mohammed remains incarcerated.
Adrian Drake was served a Randolph County warrant on a class B felony charge of violence toward a Department of Corrections employee. Drake remains incarcerated.
Christopher Lynn Stafford was served a Randolph County warrant for a probation violation on a class C felony charge of domestic assault – 2nd degree – prior domestic violence offender and a class D felony charge of damage to jail/jail property. Stafford remains in the Randolph County Jail
in lieu of the required bond.
Jason Andrew Saldana was served a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear on a class A misdemeanor charge of operated a motor vehicle on a careless and imprudent manner, involving an accident. Saldana posted the required bond and was released.
Aaron Ray Cobb was served a Randolph County warrant on a class C felony charge of possession of a controlled substance. Cobb remains in the Randolph County Jail in lieu of the required bond.
Clint Brown was served a Randolph County warrant on a class C felony charge of passing bad checks – $500 or more – no account – insufficient funds. Brown posted the required bond and was released.
Tony Lee Howell was served a Moberly Municipal warrant for failure to appear on an ordinance violation of trespass. Howell was turned over to Moberly authorities.
May Finch was served a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear on a class A misdemeanor charge of passing bad checks – less than $500. Finch posted the required bond and was released.
Carlos Miguel Castillo-Veleta was served a Randolph County warrant on a class A misdemeanor charge of operated a motor vehicle without a license – 1st or 2nd offense. Castillo-Veleta posted the required bond and was released.
Randall D. Bode was served a Randolph County warrant on a class D felony charge of property damage 1st degree. Bode posted the required bond and was released.
Nora Elena Muniz was served a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear on a class A misdemeanor charge of operated a vehicle on highway without a valid license – 1st or 2nd offense. Muniz posted the required bond and was released.
Donamitris Javon Robinson was served a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear on a class A misdemeanor charge of operated a motor vehicle on highway without a valid license – 1st or 2nd offense. Robinson posted the required bond and was released.
Donald A. Armstrong was served a Randolph County warrant for a probation violation on a class C felony charge of tampering with a motor vehicle – 1st degree and a class A misdemeanor charge of theft/stealing of property or services of less than $500. Armstrong remains in the Randolph County Jail in lieu of the required bond.
Wesley D. Kribbs was served a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear on a class C misdemeanor charge of as owner, operated or authorized another to operate a motor vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility. Kribbs posted the required bond and was released.
Tara D. Rhodes was served a Randolph County warrant for failure to obey a judge’s order on a class D felony charge of hindering prosecution of a felony and a class A misdemeanor charge of operated a motor vehicle on highway while driver’s license/privilege revoked. Rhodes remains in the
Randolph County Jail in lieu of the required bond.
Daniel L. Torres was served a Randolph County warrant on a class C felony charge of tampering with a motor vehicle – 1st degree. Torres posted the required bond and was released.
Dominic Justin Curtis Gaw was served a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear on a class D misdemeanor charge of receiving stolen property – less than $500 and an unclassified felony charge of failure to appear on a felony charge. Gaw posted the required bond and was released.
