Police report stabbing incident
Submitted - March 31, 2010On Sunday, March 28, at about 9:30 p.m., Moberly Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Henry St. concerning a disturbance involving a person that had possibly been stabbed.
According to a report from MPD Commander Kevin Palmatory, upon the arrival of officers, a 27-year-old Moberly man was found to have been stabbed in the neck, a 20-year-old Clifton Hill man had a cut to his hand and a 28-year-old Moberly man had also been involved in the altercation. A knife was recovered at the scene.
The 27-year-old was transported to MRMC where he was treated and released. The 28-year-old was arrested for 2nd degree Assault and later released pending formal charges.
The 20- year-old was also transported to MRMC where he was treated and released, then placed under arrest for 1st Degree Assault, Armed Criminal Action and Unlawful Use of a Weapon. The subject is currently incarcerated at the Moberly City Jail with bond set at $20,000 pending the filing of formal charges.
The investigation continues.
