Police, coroner investigate bar death
Janet Morales - March 24, 2010The Moberly Police Department and Randolph County Coroner Gerald Luntsford are investigating the sudden death of Jonathan C. Hicks, of Moberly, which occurred March 19.
According to a release from Luntsford, Hicks, 28, became unresponsive at a local bar. He was transported by Randolph County Ambulance District to MRMC where he was pronounced dead at 8:27 p.m.
Because he had no medical history or illness reported by family members, Coroner Luntsford ordered an autopsy which was performed Saturday morning in Columbia. The toxicology report won’t be available for about 30 days after which a full report will be released, said Luntsford.
