Police Arrests

April 9

Near Bertley Street and Roberts St., police arrested a 17-year-old male for Domestic Assault 3rd Degree, bond $2,500. The subject was later released from custody pending issuance of a warrant. During the same incident, police arrested Brandon S Brown, 22, on a Board of Probation/Parole for a Parole Violation original charge Stealing, Distribution/Delivery/Manufacture/Produce or Attempt to Possess with Intent of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, and Absconded from Community Center, with no bond. Brown was later transferred to the Randolph County Justice Center.

Near Williams St. and Rollins St., police arrested a 36-year-old male for No Valid Driver’s License (5th Offense), bond $4,500. The subject  posted bond and was released from custody.

In the 900 block of S. Morley St., police arrested Duwand Collins,32, on a Jackson County warrant for Probation Violation, original charge Possession of a Controlled Substance, with no bond, and Forgery (2 Counts). Collins was later transferred to the Randolph County Justice Center. Also arrested was Amber N Richison on a Macon County warrant for Passing Bad Check, cash bond $500. Richison posted bond and was released from custody.

Near Burkholder St. and Concannon St., police arrested John W Westfaul, 38, on a Probation Violation original charge Distribution/Delivery/Manufacture/Produce or Attempt to Possess with Intent of a Controlled Substance, bond $7,500. Westfaul was later transferred to the Randolph County Justice Center.

April 10

Near Johnson St. and Rollins St., police arrested a 27-year-old male for No Valid Driver’s License, bond $2,000. The subject later posted bond and was released from custody.

In the 1300 block of E US 24, police arrested a 17-year-old female for Petty Larceny (Shoplifting), bond $231.50. The subject posted bond and was released from custody.

April 11

In the 500 block of Vincil St., police arrested Jamie L. Brown, 32, on two Boone County warrants: Failure to Appear, original charge Failure to Display Plates on Motor Vehicle, cash bond $91.50; and Failure to Appear original charge No Insurance, cash bond $30.50. Brown posted bond and was released from custody.
