Police Arrests

On Monday, June 28, about 7:53 p.m., Moberly Police were dispatched to a possible injury accident, near the intersection of Morley St. and Urbandale Dr.
According to a Moberly Police release, the accident occurred as a 1992 Ford Ranger, driven by John G. Venneman, 21, of Park Hills, MO, was westbound on Urbandale Dr and collided with a 1997 Dodge Intrepid, driven by Sara M Skidmore, 50, of Higbee, which was southbound on Morley St.
Venneman was transported by Randolph Co Ambulance to Moberly Regional Medical Center for possible lower back injuries.
Moberly Police were assisted by the Randolph Co Ambulance District.
Venneman was later arrested on a St. Francois County warrant, failure to appear, original charge, moving traffic violation, cash bond $419. Venneman was unable to post bond and was transferred to the Randolph County Justice Center.
In the 400 block of Patton St., police arrested an 18-year-old male and a 25-year-old female for receiving stolen property (misdemeanor), bond $1,500. Both subjects were released from custody pending issuance of a warrant.
In the 1700 block of S. Morley St., police arrested a 27-year-old male for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, bond $2,500. The subject was later released from custody on summons.
June 29
In the 1200 block of E. US 24, police arrested a 31-year-old male for failed to obey lawful order, bond$381.50. The subject was released from custody on summons.
June 30
In the 600 block of N. Morley St., police arrested a 17-year-old male for curfew and possession of fireworks, bond $194.50. The subject later posted bond and was released from custody.
In the 10 block of Nickell Terrace, police arrested Jessica L. Riley, 30, on a Macon county warrant for failure to appear original charge driving while intoxicated and possession of drug paraphernalia, cash bond $1,000 and an Adair County warrant for failure to appear original charge driving while intoxicated, no bond. Riley was also charged with resisting arrest (misdemeanor). Riley was unable to post bond and was transferred to the Randolph County Justice Center.
