Moberly Police Officers to participate in DWI enforcement detail

A special enforcement effort that is aimed at targeting impaired drivers is scheduled in Moberly sometime during the week of June 14.

Officers from the Moberly Police Department will participate in the statewide, “You Drink and Drive, You Lose” campaign. Numerous other law enforcement agencies statewide are also participating in the program.

A grant from the Missouri Department of Transportation’s Highway Safety Division is allowing the department to participate in the enforcement campaign.

Officers will work extra shifts to provide enhanced enforcement of laws against driving while impaired.
