Wednesday, December 1
The Christmas lights will be turned on in Rothwell Park. Lights are sponsored by the Moberly parks and Recreation Department and the Moberly Altrusa.
Thursday, Dec. 2
Living Windows will be held at the downtown stores from 5:30 to 7:30. Come by the Mirror to hear the Moberly High School Band.
Friday, December 3
Santa House opens! Santa House is open from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. December 3-5 and December 10 – 21. The Santa House is located behind the James Youth Center in Rothwell Park. The Santa House is free to go through, there is a fee for the pictures with Santa.
* The MACC Singers will present Holiday Sounds, 7 p.m., in the MACC Auditorium. The choir is under the direction of Karen Werner, Associate Professor of Music, and Paul Perkins will accompany the choir on piano. A reception will be held in the MACC Commons after the concert.

* Holiday Bazaar at the James Youth Center and Lodge from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For booth space

* The Moberly Masonic Lodge will hold a soup and chili benefit from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge at the corner of Rollins and 4th St. Proceeds will go towards MACC scholarships. Carry out available.

Moberly Christmas parade, 5 p.m.. Sylvia Ganaway is Grand Marshal for this year’s parade. For parade information call the Chamber at 263-6070.Tuesday, Dec. 7
The Randolph County Council of Social Agencies (RCCSA) will meet at 11:30 a.m., at the Allendale Community Building, 23 Kehoe, in Moberly. This final meeting of 2010 will feature a carry-in luncheon with RCCSA proving meat, drinks and table settings. In lieu of a regular meeting, we are hosting a white elephant charity auction with proceeds to benefit the Christmas Care N Share and other community projects or programs as determined by the members. Everyone is welcome, but please RSVP to Pat Twaddle at 660-263-4110 ext 232 or Elaine Avery ext 319 for the luncheon. Members are asked to promote this event among their colleagues and to encourage more people to attend and/or donate items for the auction.

Candy Cane Hunt at Candy Cane City Playground at 2 p.m. This is a free event for children ages 3-12.
