Temps break 100 degree mark
Janet Morales - August 22, 2010Temperatures finally soared into the triple digits last week in the Moberly area after days of upper 90-degree weather. The weather finally moderated into the 80’s this week but is expected to hit the 90’s again with threats of thunderstorms. When the temperatures become extreme, Emergency Management Director Robert Creed reminds residents of places throughout the county, cooling centers, where they can go to escape the heat. These cooling centers include the Moberly Towers, the library, Randolph County Health Department, MACC Activity Center, Higbee Senior Center and Wal-Mart.
