Battle puts Hornets on top

The Westran Hornets, who have won one blowout football game after another this season, met its equal Saturday but continued its undefeated streak by a score of 13-6 over the South Shelby Cardinals. The Hornets will go on to face perennial rivals Wellington-Napoleon in semifinal play next Saturday.
