Men,
Thanks for the delightful entertainment and barbeque you hosted in behalf of the Central Missouri Honor Flight. Also congratulations to the sorority ladies who joined the barbeque to support you. Your financial contribution is phenomenal.
My wife, Judy, and I attended from Moberly and were delighted to see so many young men and women turning out to honor veterans of yesteryear. What fine looking group you are.
It is heartening to know that you will be leaders of tomorrow and that our country will be in the hands of young workers and Patriots like you.
At age 82 I am one of the younger ones who served at the end of WW II on a U.S. Navy submarine. I attended Honor Flight # 7 and was with men and women who served in the thick of things in Africa, Europe and the Pacific. There were ex-nurses and WASP’s, who ferried military aircraft to relieve combat pilots of that task.
Many of the men and women who have taken the Honor Flight saw other exotic parts of the world, but have never seen their own Capital, or the WW II Memorial.
You have done a great service for the cause.
Sincerely,
Harry & Judy Hall
