Veterans cemetery to host wreath-laying ceremony.

This year marks the 19th anniversary of Worcester Wreath company donating Maine wreaths to adorn the headstones of our Nation’s veterans at Arlington National Cemetery. In addition to 10,000 wreaths placed in Virginia, Worcester Wreath will again donate seven ceremonial wreaths to over 350 State, National and local cemeteries across the country.

Saturday, December 11, a simultaneous wreath laying ceremony will take place at over 350 locations across the world. Persons in Randolph County may attend the ceremony in Jacksonville which begins promptly at 11 a.m.

Wreaths Across America was formed to expand the program with a goal to see every veteran’s grave in the country covered to honor every veteran during the holidays.

In order to help make this goal a reality, persons may sponsor a wreath through the organization. Wreaths may be purchased online at www.WreathsAcrossAmerica.org or by completing the form below. Wreaths cannot go to a specific gravesite but the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville may be designated.
