Randolph County Fair to host pageant

On Tuesday July 20, at 7 p.m., The Randolph County Fair will present the 2010 Randolph County Fair Pageant to crown the next Miss Randolph County. The 2010 Randolph County Court consists of Miss Randolph County Corina DeOrnellis, Miss Preteen Randolph County Hope Clark, Little Miss Randolph County Emmalee Killion, Little Mister Kolin Ferrel, Junior Miss Samantha Gravitt, Young Miss Anna Huntsman, Tiny Miss Ali Mitchell and Tiny Mister Landon Meyer.

The age groups for the pageant are:

Preteen Miss: 10-12 years old; Junior Miss: 13-16 years old;

Miss: 17-22 years old; Tiny Miss: 3-4 years old;

Little Miss: 5-6 years old; Young Miss: 7-9 years old

Tiny Mister: 3-5 years old; Little Mister 6-8 years old;

The new Miss Randolph County Fair Queen will win a scholarship for $200 along with other prizes. She will have a chance to move on to the State Fair this August 2010.

Practice will be held on July 18 from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. for Tiny Mister, Little Mister, Tiny Miss, Little Miss, and Young Miss. Practice for Preteen Miss, Junior Miss, and Miss will start at 4p.m. – 6 p.m. There will be interviews for all age groups; times will be announced at a practice. Interviews will take place at MACC on July 20. If you pre-register by June 27, the entry fee will be half the regular cost. No entries will be accepted after July 2.

Must not have a child, must be single, no divorcees, live or attend school in Randolph County or have parents or grandparents that live or work in Randolph County. Miss contestants must not already have a title that makes them eligible for the 2010 Missouri State Fair Queen Contest. Winner MUST commit to being available to compete in the State Queen Contest. In addition, if chosen as Missouri State Fair Queen, you must serve one full year.
