MACC hosts annual ethics seminar

By Janet Morales, Moberly Mirror

“Lead, follow, guide” was the theme for the annual Ethics in the Workplace event held at the MACC Activity Center.

Seniors from Moberly, Cairo, Higbee, Madison, Salisbury, Westran and Macon schools came to learn how to make ethical decisions in the workplace. Approximately 40 table leaders from all walks of life – business, law enforcement, city and county government – led the students through discussions of value characteristics, ethical dilemmas and a scenario where they had to decide how to make job cut decisions.

Brad Boyer and Chad Speakar  of KWIX-KRES-KIRK served as facilitators.

The event was sponsored by MACC and MACC Tech Prep, Moberly High School, and Moberly Area chamber of Commerce. Area businesses provided donations of money and materials to help with the event.
