Historical Society to hold annual dinner meeting
Submitted - September 17, 2010The Randolph County Historical Society’s annual meeting will be held September 21, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
The event is to be held at the Trinity United Methodist Church, Fellowship Hall and will include a catered dinner and a program on “Planning for Your Sesquicentennial” by members of the Brookfield Sesquicentennial Committee, Beverly Liebhart and Rogene Smith.
Moberly will celebrate its 150th birthday in 2016 and the local historical group is seeking those willing to assist with the planning of this important community event. Everyone is invited to attend and hear how successful sesquicentennial events are planned.
Dinner reservations are necessary. Please contact the Historical Society at 263-9396 to RSVP. A message machine is available if the Society museum is closed.
