Driving value and convenience for the local community, the Moberly Parks and Recreation now offer online registration for activities and facility rentals.
The department has chosen San Diego-based The Active Network, Inc., a leading provider of software technology and marketing solutions for community service organizations, to provide the online service.
With online registration capabilities, thousands of participants will now be able to view, register and pay for Moberly Parks and Recreation’s many activities, including softball, baseball, craft classes, Start Smart Sports and much more! Another exciting feature of this system is the ability to reserve facilities online and check availability of facilities. Participants can also go online and manage their aquatic memberships and punch cards.
“For the first time our customers can pay with a credit card and view up-to-date program information, facility reservations, and memberships online,” explained Mike Bork, director of Moberly Parks and Recreation. “The Active Network’s online registration system will streamline administrative duties within our department and enhance overall efficiency for everyone involved.”
By making online registration services for activities, sports leagues, facility rentals and aquatic memberships available 24/7 via the Internet, the department can reallocate staff time to increase services and reduce the paperwork required to process registrations. The Active Network’s Internet registration makes signing up for programs simple, fast and convenient. The community can search for activities; view program details, schedules and availability; register in just minutes; and pay online with a credit card. As an added convenience, registrants will receive an e-mail immediately following an online transaction to confirm their enrollment in a program.
