Cherith Brook Food Pantry expands hours

For the past several years, Cherith Brook Food Pantry has provided once-monthly distributions in order to help provide food relief to the Randolph County community. Beginning March 16, CBFP began a twice-weekly distribution to better serve the patrons of the pantry. The pantry is now open each Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and each Thursday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Along with the change in hours, CBFP has reorganized to provide a more personal touch to the pantry. Patrons are now able to shop for items they can use in an atmosphere similar to a small store.  There is now a computer database to track usage by our patrons. Although CBFP is open more often, visits by each household are limited to once each month.

For those who visit the pantry for the first time, we are asking that they have photo identification, a Social Security card for each person in their household, and a piece of mail (i.e. a utility bill) to verify they reside in Randolph County. Please note that social security numbers are not stored in the database. The Social Security cards are only used to verify the persons living in each household.

Cherith Brook is located at 339 N. Williams Street in Moberly (at the rear entrance to the building). CBFP is a ministry of Family Life Fellowship, a member agency of the Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri, and an equal opportunity provider of services.
