Tower Loans opens office in downtown Moberly
Liz Morales - June 4, 2010Tower Loans, a financing and loan business, has added Moberly to its list of Missouri offices.
In 1936, Tower Loans opened their company in Flowood, Mississippi when the consumer finance industry was first starting out. Their company grew very quickly and Tower became very well known all throughout Mississippi and Louisiana.
Business was going quite well for the company, so they decided to add another state to their territory. In 2006 they chose Missouri. Starting in the Bootheel, they established offices around the state. Moberly, Columbia, Kirksville, Marshall, and Jefferson City are just a few of the 28 offices in Missouri; there are 144 offices all together.
On Thursday, May 28, Tower Loans held its grand opening in Moberly. When asked, ” Why Moberly?”, Zach Thomas, area supervisor, replied , “I like the small town feel of Moberly. I’m hoping for a great turnout here, as well as being able to provide the citizens the services we provide here.”
The services that the loan company offers are consumer loans, personal loans, home equity loans, and sales financing. Tower Loans’ range of loans are from $600 to $200,000. Derek Russell, store manager; Keri Berry, customer service representative; and Thomas opened the office’s doors on the first of June. The hours for Tower Loans are Monday and Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
