County suffers extreme weather, prepares for new school year
Janet Morales - August 22, 2010Many people use the weather to start conversations and the last few days have certainly provided enough to talk about. Temperatures which finally broke triple digits, many days of temps in the 90’s then the great deluge over the weekend. These weather extremes call for caution and everyone at the Mirror hopes all survived unscathed.
Starting Monday, all county schools will be in session. Motorists are asked to use greater caution as students are on their way to and from school. Students are asked to look both ways, ride bikes on the right side of the street and be careful of vehicles and pedestrians. BE SAFE!
With school in session, there are many more activities taking place. If you have a special event coming up, please be sure to contact us at the Mirror so we can cover it for you. Those of you who read our print version, please be sure to patronize our advertisers. We appreciate the belief they have shown in us as we get off to a great start.
